A "Sandy" performance

Who would have thought that it is possible to create art of sand? We walk on the sand, we play in the sand but we never thought of sand as a medium for art. Mr. Kanth Tressa changed all that with his performance on 3rd march, 2013 at 7 PM in the amphi theatre of Abhyasa International Residential School.

Mr. Kanth Tressa depicted the story of Abhyasa School by changing various scenes with sand. The scenes were projected live on to a LCD screen for the benefit of the audience. The scenes were created in a very picturesque manner and fascinated the audience to their seats. Ms. Supriya, Head department of English read out a brief, dramatic story about Abhyasa. The sand artist Mr. Kanth Tressa illustrated the genesis and history of the formation of Abhyasa and its subsequent growth and success story. The entire event was greatly enjoyed and appreciated by staff and students alike. The Director and Founder Principal Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla, in his speech, addressed the students and urged them to develop their creative potential in life.
