Children's Day Celebrations At Abhyasa School 2013-2014

Every Year on 14th of November Children's day is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm in Abhyasa. With almost 100 Percent participation from the Teacher's and all Administration Staff it was natural to be a big hit and huge success. In the morning a huge display board was secretly prepared and kept at Katya's Korner to welcome the student's, who had a pleasant surprise to see a well decorated board with balloons and 3D letters carved saying HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY from ABHYASA Staff.

In the Morning session all students went for a fun assembly which was hosted by the Teachers. The Student's really enjoyed as Teacher's had prepared a comedy script specially for a hearty laugh.

Evening the program started with an Invocation Classical Dance which was choreographed by our Dance Teacher Mr Srinivas and supported by Teachers and Staff.

It was a graceful performance & all the teachers and staff who participated had done their homework well. It was well applauded by all the student's. After that it was the turn of Newly Joined Social Teacher Ms Jasmi along with Mr Srinivas and literally the crowd was mesmerized by their Graceful movements.

Then came the fun part wherein Teachers prepared comedy short Drama's in Telugu, Hindi and English and the entire student's enjoyed the Drama's and laughed to their heart's content. A solo devotional song was performed by Mrs Suvarna Dasradhi which made everyone close their eyes and feel the divine presence for a while. After that it was again fun time. A special Dance choreographed by Mrs Ranjana our New Dean. Around 15 Teachers supported this medley Dance and it so enthralled the crowd that loud cheering was heard of Once More which echoed for a long time after. Immediately after that it was Mr Seshu's Team who performed a Medley of Devotional and film Song's.

It was a wonderful Performance supported by 6 Teachers and Vinaayak Sir Himself sung a devotional song and ended the performance with a foot tapping number "Mustafa Mustafa" which made all the student's dance. A solo Bhajan was sung by Mrs Sonal which was greatly applauded by all. After that a Solo Performance by Mr Seshu literally took us back in time as he sung a melodious Mohd Rafi Song"Likhe jo khat tujhe jo teri yaad mein".

The last but not the least was performance by PET's Mr Anji and Mr Kishen. They performed on a Korean style dance with a lot of stunts on the stage and entertained the crowd with their dance as well. It was a perfect combination of Strength and Grace. The best part of the programme came when One Sardarji came on stage and started dancing with other ladies. It was such a huge surprise. Everyone was trying to guess who this was. The identity was kept secret and it was like a cyclone on stage. The dance was a pure Bhangra and everyone danced to the tune. It was not revealed even after the show who the person was. It was our respected Murthy Madam who enacted as a Sardar. Her energy was so wonderful and graceful and no one could guess that it was her.

After all the performances, everyone came on stage and it was full Dance , Masti and Music for all.

Thanks to Mr Ratna Kumar for the wonderful compering done throughout the program, also thanks to Mr Santhosh Kumar for dubbing and mixing of audios and to everyone who has helped in logistic support.
