Blood Donation Camp 2016

The Student Rural Service Management team of Abhyasa had organized Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with The Alliance International Club, Toopran in the School on 24th July 2016. All the parents and staff were informed about the camp before 2 days. Around 100 people including students, teaching and non teaching staff participated actively in the camp. Totally 46 units of blood was collected. The camp started with the lighting of lamp followed by the speech on the benefits of donating blood by the Principal. He said that blood donation is harmless, painless and absolutely safe and is, in fact, good for health. The Alliance team shared the process of blood banking and collection with the members of Rural Service Management Team. The Scouts and Guides of Abhyasa have volunteered for registering the names of donors, taking care of the donors before and after the donation, supplying water, juice, refreshments etc. They thanked all the donors for donating blood and asked them for the feedback on the camp. All the donors were given a Certificate of Appreciation. The camp was a beautiful sight of taking needle pain to save lives of anonymous people and all the donors came forward with a smile. This camp received a more energetic response from the parents. Mr. Sai Kumar, COO of Abhyasa presented mementoes to the team of doctors and the Alliance members.
