Aradhana Mohotsav which was organised on 24th of April 2014

"All good things have to come to an end". It was time to bid adieu two outstanding batches namely Amarthya (X) and Ardent (XII).

On 24th of April every year Shri Sathya Sai Baba's "Aradhana Mohotsav" is celebrated across the world. We at Abhyasa also organise a programme which starts with Nagar Sankeertana in the morning. This year all senior students went to Nagar Sankeertana early morning in the campus. Every body was singing Bhajans and chanting Shlokas and Mantras in remembrance of Shri Satya Sai Baba. The prayer hall was beautifully decorated with lots of flowers and lamps. It was a divine sight to see hundreds of lamps lit in the evening in front of Baba's photo.

In the evening we do have Narayan Seva. We had invited poor people from Toopran and served them with clothes and food. We had invited Shri Dinkar who is a Master Trainer and has given training and motivation sessions to all big corporate companies. Shri Dinkar is a great devotee of Shri Satya Sai Baba and has spent lot of time with Baba. He shared the importance of the joy of giving and told that whatever way we can serve the poor we should always try and give as we don't know what difference this is going to bring in the life of the person to whom we are giving. He also shared that Baba used to tell everyone that if you help the poor then I will take care of your Seven Generations.

At one point he became nostalgic by remembering many miraculous incidences while his stay at Puttaparthi. He also said that all the students who have got opportunity to study at Abhyasa are lucky to have this opportunity as no other school in the country follows the tradition and culture like we do at Abhyasa. Our Founder Principal and Director also shared his views on the day.

He spoke about the importance of lighting lamps on every occasion and said that with the help of one lamp we can light thousands of lamps and spread the light across. Like wise every student from Abhyasa is also like a lamp that will spread the light across the world one day. Everyone offered their prayers to Baba's photo. After there was a special movie screening on the life of Shri Satya Sai Baba named The Glory of his story- The Advent, while the students were watching the movie there was lightning going on as if Baba was sending his blessings to everyone at Abhyasa. After the movie there was a special dinner organised for the guests as well as the students.
