On 27th January 2016, Abhyasites had a memorable evening with none other than Mr. Rajeev Uttamchandani who is an actor, an Astrophysicist, a professor at the New York Film Academy, Founder of a non-profit organization and above all a Human Rights Activist.

He has been travelling a lot recently and had visited Abhyasa to have an interactive session on exploring innovative and modern solution to the global human rights crisis. He had travelled more than half the globe to spread awareness about Human Rights. He spoke to students in detail about how his Society develops smart-phone applications, is involved with researching new technologies, and hosts conferences to investigate, promote, and implement, novel programs and initiatives that contribute towards solving global human rights crises. He also spoke about his goals as a Director of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) that is to foster a more creative collaboration between students and professionals in the Arts and STEM fields.

After over more than 4 hours of interaction with Mr. Rajiv and his team the Abhyasa Students literally are on a high and many of them have committed to uphold the Child Rights and to safeguard the lives of individuals most vulnerable to become victims of human rights abuses.

Mr. Rajiv and his team had dinner with the students and had group photographs with them before leaving the campus at around midnight.
