Abhyasa Big Bash League 2018-19

One of the most awaited bustles is the ABBL which is held during the SUMMER CAMP at Abhyasa, the students across Grade IX, X & XII were formed into 5 teams namely Rising Abhyasa Super Giants, All Stars XI, Abhyasa Warriors, Kings XI Abhyasa & Abhyasa Super Kings, each team headed by a Grade XII Girl as the respective Team Owner.

85 Players (Students & Staff) were under the hammer to be selected during the auction conducted in the Auditorium on the evening of 5th April, 2018. Very exhilarating times as all the teams buy players of their choice and interest.

The tournament started with the league matches from 8th April 2018 which continued till 17th April. All the matches were made more interesting by the inclusion of commentary along with the presence of audiences.

After the finish of the league matches and the knock out semi-finals, the stage was set for the biggest match of the League - On 22nd April, the Final match was played between All Stars XI & Abhyasa Warriors, which turned out to be a nail biting finish. It was a nerve-racking cut-throat competition between two teams. But in the end there can be only one winner and the best team on this summer evening was Abhyasa Warriors who held their nerve till the end & won the match by 3 Runs.

Awards were distributed to the winning team by our beloved CEO Mr.Vinaayaka Kalleetla. All the students enjoyed the event which was a huge success due to the participation of all of them.
